Welcome

The existence of independent retailers is a central requirement of a of a competitive grocery market: independents are the major source of retail innovation; they focus on their communities, their customers and their associates; they are the first to respond to the constantly changing needs of the diverse marketplaces; they preserve consumers’ options on product selection, prices, product quality, service levels, and store formats.

The Center for Supermarket Career Development and Performance Excellence will enhance the ability of N.G.A. subscribers to better train and educate their employees and to more effectively meet the needs of the customers they serve.

-Tom Zaucha, N.G.A.’s President and CEO
